Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds ground chuck (80/20)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoons minced onion
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Divide into 6 equal sections and using light hands work into patties.
- Grill over medium heat until internal temperature reaches your desired doneness. (3-6 minutes per side)
Notes
- Always use a meat thermometer when cooking. It is the only way to cook meats to the perfect temperature. This is absolute must for not drying out your meat dishes. Insert the thermometer from the side to ensure you are getting the middle of the burger.
- Fat matters. Do not buy extra lean meat. It will be dry. Use 80/20 ground chuck.
- Use a light touch when forming the patties. The less you work with them, the better.
- Don’t flatten your patties with a spatula while grilling, it releases the juices.
