I love me a good burger BUT some of my favorite recipes at a cookout are the side dishes. Can I get an AMEN?
Always potatoes. In every form possible. Garlic Roasted Potato Wedges, Rosemary Smashed Potatoes or Tater Tot and Bacon Casserole are sure to please!

What temperature should I cook my burgers to?
The USDA recommends you cook your burgers to 160° – 165° for a very well done burger with no pink left in the middle. You should remove the burgers from the grill when they are at 150° to 155° because of what is called carryover cooking, which means the burgers will continue to cook once removed and will increase in doneness 5° to 10° while they sit.
If you like your burgers pink or even slightly red in the middle, you will need to cook them to the following temperatures. Don’t forget about the carryover cooking!
- Medium Rare 130° – 135°
- Medium 140° – 145°
- Medium Well 150° – 155°
