Introducing The Savoring Dispatch

A monthly envelope of slow living inspiration, curated by hand and meant to be savored.

A handwritten letter from me. A seasonal recipe. A playlist for the month. Journal prompts to help you reconnect with yourself. Gardening and design wisdom earned the hard way. A quote worth keeping. A few surprises. And a little something that excites you about the following month.

Buy For Yourself

Every month, an envelope arrives in your mailbox containing:

Buy for a friendBuy For Yourself

Twelve months. Twelve themes. Nothing repeats.

For every 25 Dispatch subscriptions, 2 will be donated to women undergoing cancer treatment

This is for you if:

You’ve been meaning to slow down but you haven’t.

You want to savor things that don’t require a password.

You believe that small, savored moments are what a life is actually made of.

You’re tired of scrolling and ready to actually feel your life.

You want something real in your hands, not another notification.

What it feels like

You sit down with it. Maybe with coffee. Maybe with wine. Maybe alone while the house is still quiet. You pull out one piece at a time. You read. You linger. You don’t rush because nothing about this asks you to.

Permission to slow down. That’s the whole point.

It isn’t a box of things you have to find room for. It isn’t a magazine you’ll maybe get to.

It’s a handful of carefully chosen pieces that invite you to sit, sip and linger.

It arrives like a surprise every month.

I'm in

I used to think I was supposed to do everything. It was my job. Someday I would get to me. My self-care consisted of getting my roots done.

In 2023, I got a big wakeup call. Literally. My doctor called to tell me I had leukemia. My life was rearranged overnight. I was no longer able to take care of anyone else. I was in the hospital for four straight weeks. And it taught me something. Taking care of myself didn't break the world.

Why I started sending these envelopes

I rang the bell a little over two years ago and have made choosing myself a priority since.

I now like myself and everyone else a little more. And I think they like me a little more too.

I've talked a lot about it with friends and it turns out this isn't just a "me" thing. This is a woman thing.

they say. And do what, my mind thinks.

"Take some time for yourself,"

By nature I'm still a doer, I just like to do a little more for me these days. I created The Savoring Dispatch to help you do the same. An envelope from my home to yours each month that gives you permission to exhale, focus on yourself, and savor the small things a bit more.

Because here's the thing. This is your one life. It is an amazing thing to give to others, but it is an extraordinary thing to give to yourself.

Sharing the love

As a cancer survivor, I know that when you’re in the middle of something hard, a small beautiful thing in your mailbox can feel like a lifeline.

For every 25 subscriptions, two Dispatches will be donated to women undergoing cancer treatment.

Because slowing down and savoring life isn’t a luxury. For some of us, it’s a lesson we earned the hard way.
